Trainer and Coach
Learn more about their role, approach, and what drives them.
I began my Insights Discovery training through Learning Cog. My background is Marketing, I started my entrepreneurial adventure as a business coach, then developed a strong interest in leadership and team coaching, with a strong focus on team dynamics. I now use Insights Discovery to help teams improve how they work together and perform. I also facilitate sales training and team workshops for clients on behalf of Learning Cog. As a bi-lingual facilitator, I primarily deliver sessions in French for Learning Cog global accounts.
Facilitating groups is one of my favourite things to do. I have a natural ability to create a space where participants can really learn, connect, and grow together. My style is very engaging and interactive, and I love to bring a bit of fun into the training room because I think that’s the best way for teams to learn. If they can relax and have a laugh, they’re more open to learning. It’s also incredibly useful in creating connection and a relaxed atmosphere, which helps teams explore their dynamics, learn more about themselves, and start to shift the way they work together. I also focus on holding space when there may be challenging conversations. That’s where my Earth Green comes into play, really holding that space and asking just the right questions to help people figure things out for themselves.
My mum, because I think she has a lot of Sunshine Yellow and Earth Green, so we’re very similar. She’s also someone who has been through quite big challenges in her life, and she has really demonstrated to me what resilience means. She’s dealing with a disability right now, and seeing her still wake up with a smile, the way she has adapted to her new life, and how she doesn’t want to be defined by her disability but by who she is, has been really inspiring for me.
I delivered a talk recently based on Esther Perel motivational quote: “The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” Esther is an author and psychologist specialising in couple therapy and I draw a lot of inspiration from her work as I strongly believe that to function well as a team, you need to connect first at a deep human level. I love helping teams improve their dynamics and I truly believe that the quality of our relationships has a massive impact on our lives. When we have strong, positive relationships—at work or in life—we really thrive. When we don’t, it can affect every aspect of our lives.
