Step Into Management (SiM)
UK Management Development Training Programmes
Leadership & Management Programme Structure
We have spent a great deal of time ensuring that the learning experience and opportunities are enhanced in comparison to traditional face-to-face training. This is what will make our programme more useful for your business, and your managers.
Here is what to expect from this blended learning approach:
Self-Directed Learning
Given the structure of the blended approach to this programme, there is a requirement for managers to commit to and undertake some self-directed learning. The great benefit of this is that it can do completed in their own time, at a point that works for them. With each of the self-directed modules, we will provide a range of different learning materials. These will include videos, podcasts, reading, articles and Ted Talks amongst others; so, you will be sure to find something that resonates with each individuals learning style.
Face To Face Workshops
LearningCog have a dedicated team of facilitators and coaches who will deliver face-to-face or online workshops for various modules (see plan on later pages). The online workshops will work in a very similar fashion to face-to-face workshops and will include facilitated discussion, along with group and individual activities facilitated.
Coaching
The 121’s are provided as a key part of the programme to ensure participants have the opportunity to talk to their coach one on one about anything specific and to catch up on their learning journey.
Workbooks
As part of the programme (the self-directed and facilitated modules), managers will receive a workbook to capture their thoughts and learning. These will be a great reference back when completing Self-Directed learning and also long after the programme.
360-Degree Feedback
The programme includes a 360-degree feedback report. 360-degree feedback is a feedback process where not just your Line Manager, but your peers and direct reports and sometimes even customers give you feedback from an online questionnaire. Managers receive an analysis of how they perceive themselves and how others perceive them.
Insight Discovery
During the programme managers will receive a personalised Insights Discovery Character Profile. Insights Discovery is a psychometric tool based on Jungian psychology, which uses a four-colour model to highlight key personality preferences and associated behaviours. The tool is hugely popular within businesses and can be used for individual performance development or wider team development.
