What is your role in Learning Cog?

I am the Business Development Manager, focusing on learning solutions to businesses. I am working to acquire new clients for the business. So I work with meeting new clients, meeting with previous clients, existing clients, to draw up proposals on solutions and ideas for what will work best for them. And then I pitch those meetings and try to kind of put those proposals into action in those businesses, finding the right facilitators to complete those programs, then going forward and ensuring that those programs are really successful in doing what they need to do in those businesses.”

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

“The most rewarding part of my role is definitely when clients accept the proposal phase. Going back to the clients and the delegates after the programs had been completed, and getting the really positive feedback that we always get back about how impactful the learning has been, and just really seeing how much of a difference our facilitators and our programs can make in businesses. We’ve had businesses come to us saying that they really need help with managers who are struggling, or things aren’t going well, or where people don’t feel valued, and then to go back afterwards and to see that has had a real impact on real people, I think is the most rewarding, definitely.”

Who inspires you?

I’m inspired by women in business making success, and women in positions of power who are open about their struggles. I love seeing people who come from difficult circumstances go into really successful positions.
